How can YOU get involved at the club?
The success of the Boys & Girls Club depends on the commitment and support of our community's families and businesses.
Volunteers and donations are needed and welcomed!
There are numerous ways to financially support the Alma Area Boys and Girls Club, Inc.:
Planned Giving: Click here for more information about planned giving.
Pledges: Gifts may be paid over a period of three years and in amounts convenient to the donor.
Direct Cash Gifts: These contributions are of great importance because the money donated becomes immediately available for construction costs.
Gifts of Securities: Gifts of appreciated securities may be particularly advantageous to a donor.
Gifts of Real Property: The gift of a home or a parcel of real estate may prove advantageous to a donor. Title should be free and clear, and unencumbered. Arrangements for continued occupancy by the donor can be made.
Life Income Gifts: Planned gifts will offer several options for making major contributions to the Club, while retaining an interest for the donor and/or their family. The donor makes an irrevocable gift of cash or appreciated property in exchange for an annual payment to him or her, or to a specified beneficiary.
Bequests: For some donors, a gift through a will (bequest) will be the most realistic method of making a major contribution to the Club.
"Cause-Related" Gifts: Some corporations find that the most advantageous way to contribute is through a gift in their marketing budget, which will carry with it certain promotional linkages and name recognition through the CLUBS' advertising and on-site signage.
Naming Opportunities: These are also available. The Board of the Boys and Girls Club of the Alma Area has developed a list of areas within the new Club that can be named for the donor, or a loved one of the donor.
